bought a brand new car! yay me! unfortunately, i'll be paying it off and living off ramen and easy mac ( memories from college life are bombarding me) for approximately ever. at least the clunker is finally gone. i cried when i said goodbye and gave it a hug as i walked away. the sales people found that hilarious for some reason or another. in other news, all real life friends seem to be abandoning me to some extent. i hate growing up, you'd think i'd be used to it by now with as much time as i've had to get used to it. okay, enough bitching... off to bed, yay, bed!

i swear, i'm my own episode of home improvement. i was trying to screw a picture holder thingy (yes, that's the technical term) into the wall and somehow managed to not only drop the screwdriver, but juggle it and throw it at myself. now i have a big red knot on my forehead as a beacon to all those who were not previously aware of my awesomeness. somewhere in the world, someone is jealous of my abilities....

i'm not dead! i was laughing at myself when i finally logged back on and saw how long it's been since i wrote anything on this. since then i've gotten a promotion, gotten dumped twice (not by the same guy though), went to vegas, and moved. busy, busy, busy! anyway, exhaustion is an everyday issue now but nothing too bad is going on at the moment. family is bugging me to come for a visit. don't know what i'm going to do with them if they do show up. we shall see. getting a little warm for my tastes, can't wait till fall and summer hasn't even officially started yet. not a good sign. suppose i'll try to get back into this more frequently. we'll see...

especially when you're living it. i have witnessed racism coming from those i love as well as people i have no connection to. i was told as a child that there would never be a "minority" in the white house. (i use the term minority loosely because the word doesn't mean what it used to) i am thrilled beyond words that we have at least moved forward enough in our thinking that the color of your skin or ethnic background has any affect on the person you are. in conclusion.... HUZZAH! we have a new president elect! hopefully things will continue on in a positive way starting now

recovery seems to be slow going after last night. had lots of fun though, till it sucked. some guy kept saying all the right things but i'm not sure if he'll call me. pretty sure i'm broken on some front as far as the dating thing goes. also, get just one of my friends to start an emotional breakdown and by the end of the evening, we've all had one.my eyes hurt from crying. never again, till next time.

awhile ago, my boss approached me and said i should fill out an application for "career advancement training". so i did. i just got the acceptance letter today. it starts next week though. way to go with planning, not! plus, i am going to know precisely no one at this thing and i have to dress up. the issue being, the company has an issue with visible tattoos and piercings. i have no clue what to wear as to not offend and still be semi comfy for some 7 hour introduction to the course where i'm already going to feel awkward (new people scare me)and pissy (dressed up, remember?). oh well, at least they wanted me, right?

there never seems to be enough money in my account. i have 5 bucks to get me through a week because i have rent due the day before i get payed. ugh . oh well, i lived off ramen through college, i'm sure one more week of it won't kill me...

i swear, i'm some kind of mosquito magnet! i'm just covered in them. and burns (but those are from work and are more expected). what the hell, the holidays are coming! i'm so very not ready for them. no ideas+no moneys= crappy season. doesn't help that i don't have anything to do for them anyway. total downer. oh well... halloween is coming! i alternate between watching hocus pocus and nightmare before christmas for the entire week before hand. i love this holiday! also have a weakness for bette midler (shut it!). that is all for now

i swear, all i am is a babysitter. this wouldn't be so bad if my co-workers were even close to my age but no, they are all old enough to be my grandparents. but they won't talk to each other if one of them is mad. i just don't get it! did someone change things up on me and now the older you get, the more immature you can get away with acting? this is not the first day this has happened to me and i'm pretty sure it won't be the last one either. on the plus side, another store is trying to bribe me over to them, this could be great if i can somehow manage a raise out of the situation. dunno yet. oh well. life will continue on either way.

i never was overly into the whole organized religion thing despite being raised in a very catholic family, but this past sunday solidified that. i can't tell you what was going on (i've been told that i have the attention span of a crack addicted gnat) but it was the longest hour and a half that i can recall in a long time. i'm more than thrilled for people who have faith and practice it in a church or group or whatever but i'm really thinking that it's not my thing. oh well. 

 so, yesterday was sunny and almost got to 70 degrees but today it's snowing. diagonally. make up your mind mother nature! i can't figure out how to dress. as soon as i bundle up, it'll get warm again. blergh.
